Block and Bleed Gauge Valves

imper004.jpg (9592 bytes)For gauge isolation and pressure bleed off, the Block and Bleed Gauge Valve is the most economical solution. Equipped with an integral bleed valve actuated by turning a hex head stem for safe, reliable gauge depressurization.

REDUCED LEAK POINTS
Combining the block and bleed into one component reduces the number of parts required to properly isolate and vent the instrument.

COST SAVINGS
Repeated loosening of NPT threads to vent gauges can cause thread damage necessitating instrument replacement. The integral Bleed Valve eliminates the need to loosen the gauge in order to vent pressure.

REGULATING FLOW
The needle stem design allows gradual pressure increase when actuated, protecting expensive instruments from damaging spikes realized with 1/4 turn valves.

EASILY SERVICED
Packing can be easily adjusted simply by tightening packing nut or even be replaced without disassembling the valve.

SAFETY FEATURES
Bonnet locking pin prevents the possibility of the bonnet loosening during actuation, while a positive stop eliminates the possibility of stem back-out.
