for structural acrylic products

Hernon EF (TM) Activators 51, and 63 are specific components of the Hernon structural acrylic products: ReAct (TM) and Dissipater. (TM) The activators are necessary to activate or start the curing process of these adhesives. The acrylics will not cure without their respective activator component.

Activators are applied as a thin, uniform layer to one of the surfaces to be bonded. An alternate designation for the acrylic adhesive systems is "reactive" acrylics. The adhesive begins to cure on contact with the activator.

Always use a minimum amount of activator, especially when solventless activators are used. Excessive amounts of activator on the surface can degrade bond strength.
