Tylok
Electrolysis Fitting Assemblies
DESCRIPTION
Tylok's Electrolysis Fitting Assembly is an insulated coupling
consisting of a brass or stainless steel body and nut with a nylon insert. It completely
insulates tubing connections, preventing electrolysis corrosion.
APPLICATION
The Tylok Electrolysis Fitting Assembly has been designed to stop all
corrosion from occuring between the tubing and the fitting. The nylon insert acts as an
insulating barrier, preventing metal to metal contact. It is ideal for underground
installations or exposure to inclement weather.
This fitting assembly is for use in any installation of gas lines where
electrolysis reaction may occur such as with copper gas lines connected to galvanized
steel lines.
The Nylon insert is used for general purpose. It also has good chemical
resistance and can be used with water, oil, or gas, with lower operating temperatures up
to 280*F.
